We have limited openings for spring 2024 available!
On July 30, we found our that we would be experiencing a short delay. We are updating our Facebook page and sending emails to our parents daily. We are planning on opening 1 week late on August 12.
The building and site are expected to all be ready. Our issue is that there may be a delay on the water and power despite us thinking there would not be an issue there as stated below. Our team is working hard to get it all done and get us open on Aug 12.! We cannot wait! Scroll down for pictures of our progress!
We met with Toby Latimer on 7/15 and we are getting our water and power on time. These were the only two items outside of Latimer Construction's control when we met last week and chatted. We are thrilled with this news. We were on site early on 7/16 and spoke to the electrician who said Ga Power should be on site sometime today. He said his whole part will be on time for the inspection at the start of next week! Plumbing pipes are in and we have outdoor spickets in place. The guys are working by the street on the storm water detention system and this will be complete on time. Sheet rock is on its way and it will be going up on one side later this week and both sides will be done after the inspection of the inside of the walls at the start of next week. The stone workers are doing an amazing job and they are fast! We love the color. The siding guys are working on completing all of that and the roof is up. The retaining wall for the parking lot is being prepped today. We met with several installers for our camera, security, and door access system on 7/15 and this will be completed in the next week or so. We have SO many new desks and tables to assemble but Toby is still planning on us being able to move in on the 29th-31st so we will have time to get everything done!
We are on track to open on time for the new school year!
We met with our builder, Toby Latimer on 7/8 and went over everything that needs to be done for us to open. He is feeling positive that all of the work that needs to be done will be done. The roof, siding, and stone is happening now. Plumbers and electricians have been working. We will see drywall next week as interiors start. The site itself is being worked on daily. He has relieved our anxiety about the progress and said that he did not foresee a delay. He said he planned on our physical move in to be the last week of July.
The only items outside of his control have to do with Ga Power and the CCSWA (water) but the timelines still look good on everything here.
We are planning on opening on time this August!
We have a revised schedule that was given to us from our builders, Toby Latimer of Latimer Construction and Shawn Woodall of Integra Construction. Rain this season has been tough!
Erection of the building is now planned occur around June 13. The process will take us about 2 weeks. Interior work will occur at the same time and will involve multiple teams working at the same time.
We expect to move in July. We will definitely celebrate this move!

Rain and the surprise massive amounts of sold stone on the property set us back but they are working hard ( and using dynamite) to get the job done! Now we are hoping for dry weather so we can stay on track! We simply cannot imagine what else could come our way to cause any delays!
We expect to move in July. We will definitely celebrate this move!
We have hit stone. The builder helped us pick this location and none of us expected to have found this beneath the forest. We all thought it was a perfect piece of land and still do love it and the location- we just wish we did not find this where we did. This stone is not ideal but the builder is still optimistic that we will finish on time. See our Facebook page for videos of the explosions!
We need some dry weather and smooth explosions so we can get this site work complete!
Our builders are working on the retention pond and grading. 3500 loads of dirt have to be removed! Once this stage is complete, which is scheduled to be at the end of January, weather permitting, the next step will be the grading for the concrete to be poured.
The process has begun! Our builders are working on the land and getting everything ready for the building. If you drive by, you will see a black fence by the street. This shows you the length of the street front on the property. You will also see two driveways- one is for the entrance and one is for the exit.

We are so excited to report that after a year and a half of waiting, editing, meetings, and countless revisions, we have a permit to build!!!! I cannot even begin to express how thankful we are as this has been so frustrating. But, we are on our way!
This page will get active as we post pictures of the progress every chance we get!
Our builder has informed us that the project is starting immediately. Equipment is being brought up and the rest of the groundwork is happening right away. We will be able to see progress from the street very very soon!
They are working on a revised timeline for us. Clearly we have missed every date planned for our move that we expected to hit but unfortunately when it comes to the state, DOT, and county, we just have to follow their time schedules and rules. It was out of any of our hands. But, now, it is back in the hands of the builders! The only delays we foresee now will be due to weather so we are hopeful for a dry season! As soon as we get the revised timeline, we will post the news!
These top two pictures are renderings based on the new school's plans that we had made. We are so excited to see it come to life!
Although delays have changed our move in date, we know that it will be worth the wait! In the mean time, we have leased the lot next to our current building in Canton so our students will haveWe will stay at our current location for a bit longer.
We have a driveway cut. It's a start!
In the spring of 2022, we bought a beautiful 5 acre piece of land on Union Hill Road in Canton. We hired Shawn Woodall and Toby Latimer to build us a school. Shawn went with us to several properties and helped us select this one. We all loved the positive energy that we felt while walking through it. We loved the elevation and distance back from the street that we could build our school on. We ap
