Using a GOAL Scholarship?

The Haven Academy participates in the GOAL Scholarship Program. GOAL scholarships are need-based awards that help Georgia families pay private school tuition, funded through Georgia's student scholarship tax credit.

Who qualifies?

Your child may qualify for a GOAL scholarship if you live in Georgia and your child:

• Is currently enrolled in a Georgia public school and has attended for at least six weeks, or

• Is entering Pre-K4, kindergarten or first grade, or

• Has been enrolled in a home study (homeschool) program for at least one year.

The six-week public school requirement can also be waived for students assigned to low-performing schools or who have experienced documented school violence.

Homeschool families: if your child has been homeschooled for a year or more, you may qualify. That makes GOAL a strong fit for families moving from homeschool or hybrid into full-time school at Haven.

How much is the award?

GOAL awards are based on family size and household income. Award amounts vary by family and are set each school year, so families reapply annually.

How to apply

1. Book a tour at The Haven Academy and complete our admissions process.

2. Apply for a GOAL scholarship and submit proof of eligibility, such as a report card or homeschool records.

3. GOAL reviews your household income and family size to set your award.

4. Your award is applied directly to Haven tuition.
