At the Haven Academy, students have access to a flexible, Cognia accredited high school program designed to meet graduation requirements while also supporting individual goals, interests, and future plans. Our program combines strong academics, advanced coursework ( AP) , honors courses. dual enrollment, hands on electives, and personalized college and career planning in a structured and supported environment. We serve families in Cherokee County, Ga and surrounding areas.

We offer rolling enrollment as long as space permits. Mid semester transfers are accepted.

Academics & Graduation Pathways

The Haven Academy offers a comprehensive high school curriculum aligned with state university entry requirements and state graduation requirements designed to prepare students for life after high school.

Students complete core academic courses in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies along with required and optional electives and enrichment opportunities. Our academic program is structured to ensure students are not only meeting all requirements but also building a strong foundation for their future goals.

We offer multiple pathways for support different student needs including:

College preparatory coursework
Advanced AP courses with AP exams through our school
Honors level course opportunities
Dual enrollment opportunities
Electives that support career exploration and personal interests
Integration of STEM without screens into all academic areas
Hour long lunch periods to give student choice for social time, clubs, and recreational time inside and out.

The Haven offers students opportunities to complete high school on schedule, at an accelerated rate, and to make up academic credits that may be missing for various reasons.

The Haven Academy is a Cognia accredited kindergarten - 12th grade private school.

Students who complete the required coursework and graduation requirements will earn a high school diploma from The Haven Academy. Our diploma reflect completion of a rigorous academic program designed to prepare students for college, career, and life beyond high school.

We host a graduation ceremony yearly for our students.

Homeschoolers who wish to take courses with us and maintain homeschool status may participate in graduation ceremonies and will get a nonaccredited diploma from Canton Homeschool Resources.

Full Time, Hybrid, and Enrichment Options

The Haven Academy offers both full time enrollment and flexible hybrid options for high school students. We also offer Friday only enrichment courses for students.

Full time students participate in daily on campus instruction while hybrid students may combine in person learning with structured at home coursework depending on their needs and eligibility.

Both options maintain academic rigor and access to core instruction and electives. Students may opt to add on Friday learning labs for extra help from teachers in small group settings and other elective courses.

Science classes include Zoology, Biology, Environmental Science, Physical Science, AP Environmental Science, and AP Biology. Dual enrollment options are available.
Math classes include Advanced Decision Making, Pre-Calculus, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, & Geometry as teacher at the board courses. Statistics, College Readiness Algebra, Calculus, Liberal Arts Math, and any lower level math courses that may be needed are offered in an online format. Dual enrollment options are available.
Social Studies classes include US History, Government, Economics, World History, and AP US History. Dual enrollment options are available.
Language Arts classes include Multicultural Lit/Comp, British Lit/Comp, World Lit/Comp, American Lit/Comp and AP Literature. Dual enrollment options are available as well.
