Middle School
Middle school is a time of enormous growth. Students are becoming more independent, academics are becoming more challenging, and friendships and school culture matter more than ever.
At The Haven Academy, our middle school program provides the structure students still need while giving them increased independence, responsibility, and opportunities to explore their interests.
Our students benefit from low student to teacher ratios, teachers who know them well, string core academics, hands on learning opportunities, and a school environment where students are expected to treat each other with kindness and respect.
We want middle school students to feel comfortable coming to school, confident asking for help, and excited about discovering what they are good at doing. We serve families in Cherokee County, GA and surrounding areas.
We have limited availability for enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year in middle school. We accept students year round as long as there is space in the desired grade.

Strong Academics Without Getting Lost In the Crowd
Middle school is an important transition between the foundations of elementary school and the increased expectations of high school.
Students get instruction in language arts, science, math, science, art, technology, and PE each day. Advanced students may start taking classes for high school credit in 8th grade.
Teachers are able to closely monitor student progress, recognize when students need additional help, and provide academic challenge when students are ready to move ahead.
At Haven, we want them to have the room to explore interests, develop friendships. learn to advocate for themselves, and gradually take more responsibility for their education. Middle school students have one hour long lunch periods where they are able to socialize, play inside and outside games and sports, join clubs and gfet extra help on work if needed.
Our goal is to make sure students enter high school with the academic foundation, study habits, confidence, and independence that they need to be successful.
Safety is a Priority
We take student safety seriously.
The Haven Academy has an onsite Cherokee County Sheriff's officer during the school day, secure electronic building access, an AI assisted camera system that covers our school inside and out, emergency communication for staff, and a controlled visitor check in system in place.
All staff members go through complete background checks as well as training in First Aid/AED, Life Vac Choking, and Homeland Security safety.
These systems are designed to help us maintain a secure campus while allowing our teachers to focus on teaching and students to focus on learning.

Full Time, Hybrid, & Enrichment Options
The Haven Academy offers full time, hybrid homeschool, and enrichment options to our middle school students.
Our families have the ability to choose a schedule that works for their child while still providing access to Haven's teachers, academic program, activities, and school community.
