Full-Time Private School, Kindergarten Through 12th Grade

Four days on campus in Canton, plus Friday classes and small-group tutoring

The Haven Academy is a secular private school in Canton. We leave religion at home and focus on learning, belonging and growing. Full-time students are on campus Monday through Thursday, plus Friday classes and small-group tutoring.

The week

  • Monday–Thursday on campus. Doors open at 8:15 and classes start at 9:00. Elementary ends at 3:30; middle and high school end at 4:00.
  • Fridays, 9:00–2:30: classes, small-group tutoring, homework lab, clubs and musical theater.
  • 180-day calendar, semester report cards and MAP Growth testing.
  • Lesson plans are posted in FACTS so families can see what's happening every day.

What full-time students get

  • Lower student-to-teacher ratios
  • Elementary: Spanish starting in kindergarten, weekly music with Mr. Boggs, LEGO robotics and project-based learning.
  • Middle and high school: robotics, engineering and film. Haven has a FIRST LEGO League team and 3D printers on campus.
  • High school college credit: AP classes (2026–27: AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, AP English Literature and Composition, and AP Business with Personal Finance) and dual enrollment for grades 10–12.
  • Arts: portfolio-based high school art, pottery wheels, and musical theater for all ages.
  • Accreditation: Cognia and the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC), an accredited transcript, and NCAA approval.
  • STEM: Haven is pursuing Cognia STEM Certification.

Cost and scholarships

There are no extra charges beyond tuition and supply fees except optional field trips and the optional yearbook. Haven accepts the Georgia Promise Scholarship, GOAL scholarships and the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship (SB-10). See Tuition and Fees.

Coming from Alpharetta, Milton or Roswell?

Many Haven families drive in from north Fulton. Haven is at 8028 Union Hill Road in Canton, 10–15 minutes from Milton, Alpharetta, Roswell and Woodstock. A four-day week means one fewer drive than a five-day school.
