A Non-Religious Private School in Canton, GA

We leave religion at home

The Haven Academy is a secular K–12 private school. Religion stays at home, and families of every belief, and no belief, are welcome here. Faith is a family decision, and we respect that.

What we do focus on is school: strong academics, real options for high schoolers, and a place where kids feel they belong.

Accredited, full-time or hybrid

Haven is accredited by Cognia and the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC), and is NCAA approved. Full-time students are on campus Monday through Thursday, plus Friday classes and small-group tutoring. Hybrid students come Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday and sit in the same classes, with the same curriculum, as full-time students.

More than the basics

  • Lower student-to-teacher ratios
  • College credit in high school: AP classes on campus (2026–27: AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, AP English Literature and Composition, and AP Business with Personal Finance) and dual enrollment for grades 10–12.
  • STEM: a FIRST LEGO League team, robotics, engineering and film. We're pursuing Cognia STEM Certification.
  • Arts: portfolio-based high school art, musical theater for all ages, and weekly music with Mr. Boggs for elementary.
  • Spanish for every elementary student, starting in kindergarten.
  • Credit recovery and summer school for high schoolers who need to catch up or want to graduate early.

Scholarships we accept

Georgia Promise Scholarship, GOAL scholarships, and the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship (SB-10).
